Shirazi Public Relations official reaches Damascus in preparation for AhlulBayet occasions

The Public Relations director of the Karbala Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, Sayyid Aref Nasrallah, arrived in the Syrian capital, Damascus, to begin preparations for the birth anniversary Imam Ali and the martyrdom of Sayyeda Zainab, peace be upon them.

Nasrallah said: “We arrived in Syria accompanied by a number of the Husseini brothers, and we had the honor of performing pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Sayyida Zainab, daughter of the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon them both, and we began from the first moment preparing to revive the religious occasions the month of Rajab.”

He added, “We are preparing to celebrate first the birth of the Commander of the Faithful, Ali bin Abi Talib, peace be upon him, which is on the thirteenth of the month of Rajab, and then we get ready for the commemoration of the martyrdom of Sayyeda Zainab, peace be upon her, which is on the fifteenth of the month of Rajab.”

Nasrallah continued, “At the heart of our service activities is to coordinate between the ceremonial processions, the management of the holy Zainabi shrine, the Zainabiyah Hawza, some offices of the honorable Religious Authorities, and security and service agencies in the region to receive the pilgrims.”
