Participants also discussed issues of shared concern, including the recent elections in Quebec, examining their results and potential implications for the interests of Muslim community members.
A significant part of the discussions focused on the religious and moral upbringing of younger generations and the importance of strengthening their connection with Islamic teachings and the school of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) through religious education and cultural and social activities.
The meeting also featured contributions from religious scholars and representatives of participating institutions, who discussed practical ways to expand cooperation and coordinate efforts to address issues affecting the wider Muslim community in Canada.
