Jaipuria Institute of Management Lucknow on Tuesday launched its four-day entrepreneurial fest and organized the Reema memorial Women Achievers Awards 2023, in association with Small Industries Manufacturing Association (SIMA).
The Founder & CEO of Sarah Fatima Designs & COO, Sarah Fatima, won the Reema Memorial Women Achievers Award 2023 for her chikan embroidery works.
“It’s a huge honor for me, and I would like to accept this award on behalf of all the artisans,” said Fatima.
Chikankari (chikan embroidery) is a traditional embroidery style from Lucknow, India, and it is one of the city’s best known textile decoration styles.
