Great happiness overwhelms the Shias of Congo Brazzaville after building their first mosque in the country
The Shia convert Ramadan Al-Sajjad Boninga announced the construction of the first mosque for the followers of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) in the Republic of Congo-Brazzaville, to host activities and events and hold the holy Husseini rituals.
Boninga said in a statement to Shia Waves News Agency: “Great efforts were made the Shia community in the country to build the Imam Musa al-Kadhim (peace be upon him) Mosque, which is the first mosque for Shias in the region.”
He continued, “The mosque is being built in the northern region of the country, and it has reached an advanced stage.”
He added that “the loyal Shias in the country expressed their happiness for building this mosque, which will embrace their prayers and religious activities, as well as the establishment of the rituals of the Ahlulbayt (peace be upon them) and Quranic and jurisprudence courses.”
