For the past two weeks, ongoing clashes in Khartoum, the capital city of Sudan, have killed hundreds and injured several thousand people, leaving numerous citizens displaced from their homes.
Meanwhile, religion and human rights activists have expressed concern about the Shia minority members being targeted in Sudan’s conflicts.
It should be noted that most Shiites in Sudan live in the cities of Khartoum, Kosti and Omdurman.
