Russian delegation visits Imam Hussain Holy Shrine and tours its museum

A delegation of Russian Muslims visited the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and toured the Museum of the Holy Shrine.

Ghassan al-Shahristani, museum curator, said in a statement to news agencies, “The visiting delegation was honored to visit the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) and its museum.”

 He added, “During the introductory tour of the museum, we gave them a detailed explanation of the museum’s artifacts collected by the Holy Shrine or those gifted by Ahlulbayt followers, their dates and the historical incidents associated with them. We also gave them a detailed overview of the museum’s establishment and stages of development, as well as the attacks that it was subjected to over time.”

The visiting Russian Muslim delegation expressed their great fascination with the museum, its building designs, precious items, and the artistic display in it.
