Misbah al-Hussein Foundation distributes al-Ghadir clothing to poor families
Misbah al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development (NGO) in Holy Karbala took the initiative to provide Eid clothing to underprivileged families in a number of Iraqi cities on the occasion of Eid al-Ghadir.
In a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, the Foundation stated that under the guidance and patronage of the Office of the Supreme Religious Authority, His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, may Allah prolong his life, the Foundation took the initiative to distribute Eid clothing on the occasion of Allah’s Greatest Eid, in cooperation with the offices of the Shirazi Religious Authority and a number of charitable and humanitarian associations and institutions, and civil society organizations.
The Director of the Foundation, Sahib Al-Kishwan, stated that the Foundation, since its establishment, has been reviving the Greatest Eid of God, the Great Day of Ghadir, the day of loyalty and allegiance to the Commander of the Faithful, peace be upon him, through ideological, educational and cultural programs, in coordination with Imam Hussein TV. It has also been distributing food to the honorable pilgrims in holy Karbala, and providing food baskets to the families of orphans and the needy.
He added, that among its activities in commemorating this great day is the distribution of the Al-Ghadir clothing to the orphans and the needy, in cooperation with the offices of the Shirazi Religious Authority, who constantly recommends and directs his offices and its affiliated institutions, to revive and glorify this day, especially by visiting the needy and underprivileged families in Iraq’s different cities.
