Misbah Al-Hussein Foundation for Relief and Development in Karbala continues its humanitarian campaigns to support the families of orphans and the needy.

The Foundation stated in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency, that “in coordination with mayors of the province’s districts, the Foundation distributed meat to the families of orphans and the needy.”

Hussein Al-Adly, the head of Public Relations Department at the Foundation, stated that
“the Foundation’s concern for the families of orphans and the needy is among its priorities, which it is keen to follow up and provide what the segment of society needs in particular, according to the directives and commandments of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq Al-Husseini Al-Shirazi, and in coordination with the mayors of Karbala’s districts, to help the needy who are registered with the Foundation within a database of orphans.”

He stressed, that the Foundation, with the support of the believers and the legal rights it obtained from the office of His Eminence Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, sacrificial meat was distributed to the poor in honor of Imam Mahdi, may Allah hasten his honorable reappearance.
