The Lebanese Christian writer, Michel Kadi, said that the Ashura incident is not just a word, but rather a religion, courage, and God’s love, indicating that he learned the greatness of Christianity from what Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, said.
In a video message on the occasion of the holy month of Muharram and the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, Kadi mentioned that “Ashura is not just a word, but a religion, courage, and God’s love, and we Christians, of course, know, acknowledge and accept it.”
He added, “I learned the greatness of Christianity from the sayings of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and I learned from Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, the humanitarian work that led me to know people, and to accept all people within the framework of his human thought, as I learned from Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, patience and courage, wondering whether” Is there anything more difficult than the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him?
He explained, “It is the greatest testimony we have in our lives through the ideas of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, that martyrdom for which he fell, and for the sake of Islam, and this is the thought of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, and he is the teacher of all mankind.”
