According to the website of the holy shrine, Rasul Al-Wazni, the circles are held for tribal Diwans or Mazyaf, a place for the gatherings of Iraqi tribes where they make important decisions.
Head of the Quranic circles center of the holy shrine said that the Quranic program has been planned taking into account the influence and important role of the Diwans in disseminating the Quranic culture among Iraqi people.
He added that the first session of the series was held at ‘Seyyed Muhammad Amid Al-Sadah Al Alka’ Diwan in the holy city of Karbala and was received well by a large number of people and Quranic figures.
