Imam Ali Holy Shrine gifts 200-year-old rare relic to Imam Hussein Museum
A delegation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali has gifted a rare piece of relic dating back to around two centuries ago to the Museum of Imam Hussein.
A delegation from the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali has gifted a rare piece of relic dating back to around two centuries ago to the Museum of Imam Hussein.
The head of the delegation, Secretary-General of Imam Ali Holy Shrine Sayyid Nazar Habl al-Mateen, met with the Chief Cleric of Imam Hussein Holy Shrine Sheikh Abdul-Mahdi al-Karbalaey and other officials from the board of directors.
Al-Mateen confirmed that the ziyarah of Imam Hussein is inscribed on the artifact.
From his part, Sayyid Alaa al-Deen, head of Imam Hussein Museum, remarked, “This day is indeed a glorious day as an invaluable relic, made of gold and precious stones, was added to our museum. We very much thank the Imam Ali Holy Shrine for their wonderful gift.”
