Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husayni al-Shirazi has emphasized that the uprising of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) aimed to awaken consciences, stressing that reviving her approach, spreading her teachings and introducing the world to her exalted status are responsibilities that believers must uphold today.

The remarks were published in a brief statement on the official website of his office, coinciding with the observance of the second Fatimid days, during which believers commemorate the martyrdom anniversary of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), the daughter of the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his family).

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi stated: “The uprising of Lady Fatima al-Zahra, peace be upon her, was intended to awaken consciences. Reviving this approach today is our responsibility, and it is deeply saddening that the world has yet to recognize the greatness of her status and the nobility of her character.”
