Nepal hosts interfaith seminar on Lady Fatima al-Zahra to promote peace and coexistence

Around 150 Shia, Sunni and Hindu religious, political and cultural figures gathered in Nepalgunj, Nepal, on October 31 for an interfaith seminar titled Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and Her Message of Peace, held as part of the Fatimiyyah commemorations.

Speakers highlighted the moral values, dignity and humanitarian teachings of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), emphasising their role in promoting mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence. Hindu parliamentarian Sushila Nepali and several Sunni and Hindu religious leaders also praised her exemplary character and status.

Despite heavy rain and thunderstorms, the event attracted significant participation, demonstrating the commitment of different religious communities to interfaith dialogue, mutual respect and social harmony.
