Thousands of devotees of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) gathered on Friday at the holy shrine of the Honourable al-Qasim ibn Imam Musa al-Kadhim (peace be upon them) in Hillah, Babil Province, Iraq, to mark the anniversary of his martyrdom through a symbolic funeral procession.

According to the Shia Waves Agency correspondent in Babil, mourners travelled from various Iraqi cities and provinces to participate in the commemorations. Hussaini service and mourning processions had also arrived days earlier to serve pilgrims and organise religious ceremonies.

The symbolic funeral procession was attended by thousands of believers, who expressed their grief through traditional mourning rituals.

Delegations from the Holy Kadhimiya Shrine, as well as the holy shrines of Imam Hussein, al-Abbas, Imam Ali and the Askari Imams (peace be upon them), also participated in the commemorations with mourning and service processions, reaffirming their commitment to preserving the traditions and remembrance of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
