Pakistan Marks the Prophet’s Birthday with Widespread Celebrations and Processions
Various parts of Pakistan are witnessing widespread religious and public celebrations marking the anniversary of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family), including religious gatherings, praise poetry, processions, and programs highlighting the life of the Noble Prophet, amid special security and traffic arrangements.
Mosques, buildings, markets, and public squares have been decorated with lights and green flags, while large numbers of citizens have taken part in religious gatherings and events, reciting prayers and salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family).
Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan, as well as Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, have also witnessed central processions and celebratory marches in a religious and spiritual atmosphere.
Speeches and programs held for the occasion have focused on aspects of the Noble Prophet’s life, particularly the values of compassion, justice, equality, brotherhood, tolerance, and respect for human beings, with calls to embody these principles in daily life and promote peace and coexistence within society.
In the capital, Islamabad, authorities have adopted special security and traffic measures to secure the processions and gatherings. They also discussed procession routes, traffic management, and the provision of public services with scholars and event organizers. Scholars from different Islamic schools affirmed their cooperation to maintain security, discipline, and social harmony.
Prophet’s Birthday celebrations continue across Pakistani cities and regions, with widespread public participation in religious gatherings, praise poetry, and processions as an expression of love for the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) and to commemorate his blessed life.
