Marking the International Youth Day on August 12, the Global Organization for the Elimination of Violence “FreeMuslim Association” called for greater attention to the challenges facing young people, emphasizing the need to empower youth, address unemployment, and promote a culture of peace.

In a statement issued on the occasion, the organization stressed that young people represent a fundamental pillar in building a future based on peace, justice, and social stability. It called on governments and institutions to take practical steps to create employment opportunities, expand development programs, and ensure meaningful youth participation in decision-making processes.

According to the statement, the organization warned that unemployment and neglect of young people, particularly in Muslim countries, could have serious social and security consequences. It highlighted the importance of investing in modern education, vocational training, and skills development to help youth achieve their potential and contribute positively to their communities.

The Organization also emphasized the role of promoting peace values and rejecting violence among younger generations, describing these efforts as an effective barrier against extremism and social instability.

The organization urged international and local institutions to provide safe environments that support youth growth, protect their legitimate aspirations, and encourage their active participation in building more peaceful and inclusive societies.
