Bellfield College in Australia commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, his family, and his companions through an Ashura program attended by students, parents, and teaching staff.

The event was held in an atmosphere of grief and reverence, while highlighting the humanitarian values embodied by the uprising of Karbala.

In a statement, the college said the program aimed to strengthen students’ connection to the moral and humanitarian principles inspired by the revolution of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.
