The Ashura mourning ceremony was held in Afghanistan’s Nimroz province with the broad and enthusiastic participation of various segments of society, including scholars, youth, and local elders.

During the religious gathering, mourners honored the memory of the martyrs of Karbala and commemorated the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.

According to Afghanistan’s Khabar-e Taza Telegram channel, the spiritual ceremony took place at the Ahlulbayt Mosque, peace be upon them, in Sistan township, Nimroz province, where mourners held lamentation and elegy recitations.
