On the occasion of International Peace Day, the Global Nonviolence Organization the (Freemuslim Association) issued a statement condemning all forms of violence and armed conflict worldwide, warning of the human and material toll of ongoing wars, according to a statement received by Shia Waves Agency.

The organization highlighted persistent conflicts in the Middle East, urging all parties to pursue dialogue and political solutions that ensure security, stability, and the protection of human rights. It emphasized that resolving the Palestinian issue is central to achieving lasting peace in the region, calling for an end to occupation and the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

The statement also addressed the war in Ukraine, citing its significant humanitarian and economic impacts, and stressed adherence to international humanitarian law. The organization underscored that peace involves justice, coexistence, and mutual respect, urging global leaders and civil society to address root causes of conflict, including poverty, inequality, and social injustice, to foster a world free from violence and hatred.
