UN Security Council Warns of Child Suicide Bomber Camps in Northern Afghanistan
——————————–
The United Nations Security Council has issued a stark warning regarding the establishment of training camps for child suicide bombers by ISIS-Khorasan (ISIS-K) in northern Afghanistan.
According to the Shia Waves Persian, quoting Al Jazeera, these camps are reportedly training children as young as 14 for suicide operations through extremist indoctrination. This development is considered a serious threat to both regional and global security.
The report indicates that the extremist Sunni group ISIS is exploiting security vacuums in border areas with Pakistan and continues to recruit new members. Despite the Taliban’s denial of terrorist presence in the country, experts express concern over the group’s inability to suppress ISIS-K.
