Iraq Initiates Extensive Security and Medical Preparations for Arbaeen Pilgrimage
—————————
Iraq is stepping up its preparations for the upcoming Arbaeen pilgrimage, implementing a comprehensive security alert across several provinces and enhancing medical services to accommodate the millions of anticipated pilgrims.
According to a security source quoted by Middle East News, Iraqi security forces will be placed on full alert starting Monday, August 4. This measure, as reported by Shafaq News, is part of a special Arbaeen plan designed to ensure the safety of pilgrims in Baghdad and other provinces.
Concurrently, the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali in Najaf has already initiated extensive medical and health preparations. These include establishing well-equipped medical centers and deploying dedicated medical teams along pilgrim routes and within the holy shrine itself, all aimed at safeguarding the health and well-being of the vast number of visitors expected for the annual pilgrimage.
