Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s Office Announces Sunday First Day of Safar 1447 AH

The office of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has announced that the crescent moon for the month of Safar al-Ahzan 1447 AH has not been sighted.

Consequently, Saturday will mark the final day of the month of Muharram al-Haram. The first day of Safar al-Ahzan 1447 AH will officially commence on Sunday, July 27.
