Saudi Arabia Introduces AI-Driven Hajj Plan with Advanced Digital Services

Saudi Arabia is set to reveal a groundbreaking operational strategy for the upcoming Hajj season this Thursday, marking a significant leap in pilgrimage management through artificial intelligence and smart technologies, Iqna reported.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque will officially announce the plan, which represents the most comprehensive service enhancement since the implementation of recent regulatory reforms.

This year’s initiative prioritizes pilgrim-centric solutions, leveraging cutting-edge tools to ensure a seamless spiritual journey for millions of worshippers. Among the innovations are the “Manarah 2” AI robot, a multilingual assistant designed to guide pilgrims, and interactive smart screens deployed at key locations to deliver real-time updates. The plan also introduces a global Digital Quran platform for recitation and learning, alongside the Surat Al Fatiha app, which offers multilingual insights into this foundational Quranic chapter.
