Shia Muslims worldwide celebrate blessed birth of Imam Hussein’s eldest son – Ali al-Akbar

Shia Muslims in Iraq and around the world are celebrating the auspicious anniversary of the birth of Sayyidna Ali al-Akbar, peace be upon him, the son of Imam Hussein, peace be upon them, who is known for his resemblance to the Holy Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him and his family. In the holy city of Karbala, large crowds of visitors gathered at the shrine of Imam Hussein to offer congratulations on the birth of his eldest son.
