Shia community in Finland commemorates Ashura rituals

Shia community in Finland has begun reviving the Husseini mourning rituals in commemoration of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein, his family members and honourable companions, peace be upon them.

According to Shia Waves correspondent in the country, “Husseini mourners from Iraqi refugees and several other Lebanese and Iranian refugees, as well as local citizens, commemorated the sorrowful Ashura occasion of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him.”

He added that, “Hussainiyas and Shia centers throughout the country are witnessing daily active and significant participation from the believers to commemorate the painful anniversary and remember the oppression and aggression against the Master of Martyrs, peace be upon him.”
