Faisalabad Fire: Laptop Explosion Kills Two Children, Injures Seven

A fire erupted in a Faisalabad home in Pakistan on Wednesday after a laptop exploded while charging, leaving two children dead and seven others injured, Dawn newspaper reported today.

The injured, including women and children as young as three, suffered serious burns and are receiving treatment at Allied Hospital, the source mentioned.

It further noted that officials believe a faulty lithium ion battery caused the explosion.
