Grand Ayatollah Shirazi congratulates Muslims worldwide on blessed Eid al-Adha

The Supreme Religious Authority his Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi, has congratulated the entire Islamic world, particularly the followers of Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, on the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha.

According to a statement published on the official website of his Eminence, the Grand Marja extended “his greetings and salutations to Imam al-Mahdi, may Allah Almighty hasten his honourable reappearance, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha.”

He further said that “His Eminence also sent his greetings to the believers across the globe on this significant occasion,” praying to Allah Almighty to “bestow upon them goodness and blessings.”

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s hounorable residence in the holy city of Qom witnessed the Eid al-Adha prayers, attended by a large number of scholars, teachers, seminary students, and other believers who expressed their immense joy at this grand occasion.

The official website mentioned that “crowds of believers and visitors to the holy shrine of Sayyeda Fatima al-Masouma, peace be upon her, also had the honor of meeting Grand Ayatollah Shirazi and listened to his valuable recommendations.”
