Najaf finalizes preparations to receive 3 million pilgrims on Prophet’s martyrdom

Najaf local government announced the completion of preparations to mark the martyrdom anniversary of the holy prophet, peace be upon him and his holy progeny, estimating the number of pilgrims to three million of Iraqis, and foreigners.

 

 

Najaf local government announced the completion of preparations to mark the martyrdom anniversary of the holy prophet, peace be upon him and his holy progeny, estimating the number of pilgrims to three million of Iraqis, and foreigners.

Head of Najaf Council, Khudaier al-Juburi, said in statement received by Shiawaves that the local government has set a complete security and services plans in order to insure the safety of the pilgrims in addition to their comfort during the pilgrimage. He added that the number is estimated to reach three million pilgrims of Iraqis, Arabs, and foreigners.

It is worth mentioning that Muslims mark the martyrdom anniversary of the holy prophet, peace be upon him and his holy progeny, on the twenty eighth of Safar.
