Construction work of Imam Hussein and Imam Al-Jawad basements is advancing

The head of the Windows and Gates Manufacturing Department at Al-Abbas Holy Shrine, Mr. Nazim Al-Gharabi, has announced that the technical team is working on the windows of the basements of Imam Hussein and Imam Al-Jawad, peace be upon them.

Al-Gharabi confirmed that “the designs and stainless steel covered-wooden structure have been completed and team is now awaiting final approval on the design.”

He added that “Some parts of the project have been completed and other parts are still being worked on.”

It should be mentioned that such projects are being carried out to contain the increasing numbers of pilgrims to the holy city of Karbala.
