Millions of devotees of Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Egypt and all over the world are eagerly waiting for the reopening of the Station of Sayyida Zainab, peace be upon her.

The holy site is being developed by government, and once completed in the near future, it will receive thousands of visitors throughout the year.

The Egyptian newspaper “Sadi al-Balad” announced on Wednesday that millions of Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) loyalists inside and outside the country are eager to see the completion of the ongoing construction project of Sayyida Zainab’s Station, peace be upon her, in Cairo.

“Officials involved in the development project of Sayyida Zainab’s station, peace be upon her, in Cairo, are working hard to open the gates of this holy place to visitors soon,” Shia Waves agency cited the newspaper.

The newspaper has mentioned that this construction operation has started after the completion of the development plan for the shrine of Imam Hussain’s Holy head (peace be upon him).

“Sadi al-Balad” also quoted Muhammad Mukhtar Juma, Minister of Endowments of Egypt, and wrote: The Station of Sayyida Zainab, peace be upon her, is undergoing construction and engineering activities for development that befits the noble character the site is linked to.

Emphasizing that this ongoing project is being completed with great precision and speed, he added: Egypt has a long history of building, developing and beautifying mosques and shrines belonging to the family of the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him and his family. So far, the nation has been able to record bright and glorious chapters of development worthy of the history and civilization of Egypt.

Many stations, mosques, holy places and shrines linked to Ahlul-Bayt (peace be upon them) in Egypt have received special attention as part of a large construction campaign and developmental plans of the Egyptian government to attend to mosques, graves and historical buildings and heritages.
