Northwestern University allocates places for students to practice religious activities
The “Daily Northwestern” newspaper said on Thursday that the American “Northwestern University” has allocated spaces to hold religious events for all its students who follow different religions and sects, including Shia Muslims.
The newspaper said in a report viewd by Shia Waves Agency that “The University seeks through these events to create spaces for religious and cultural dialogue between its students, whether they are Jews, Christians or Muslims.”
It added that “The University students can have a special place to perform their prayers and worship, as well as religious rituals for the members of the Shia Muslim community.”
She further said that “Shia students at Northwestern University are holding continuous activities to introduce their religious belief, and lectures and workshops are being organized to create a dialogue with others based on love and tolerance.”
