3,000 Different Genes in Brains of Women and Men: New Findings on Neurological Differences
——————————————-
A recent study in the United States has revealed that the brain differences between women and men go beyond previous understanding and may play a role in certain neurological disorders.
According to a report by Euronews, the study, published in the scientific journal “Science”, highlights that researchers from the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda have found that, out of approximately 20,000 human genes, over 3,000 genes in the brain show different patterns of activity depending on gender.
These findings suggest that the brains of women and men do not function identically, and their genetic interpretation varies between the sexes.
