Rep of Grand Ayatullah Shirazi emphasizes need to immediately stop sending weapons to Israel
Consultant of Shiite legal organizations and representative of the Supreme Religious Authority, Grand Ayatollah Shirazi, has taken measures in a new movement to seek a halt on sending weapons to Israel.
In a phone call with civil society and human rights organizations and institutions in the United Nations, Sheikh Mohammad Taqi Zakari pursued the initiative and emphasized immediate actions.
This comes as the media published a report and announced the issuance of an official statement by 30 human rights experts on Friday morning.
In a joint statement issued in the name of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the 30 legal experts emphasized the urgent need to stop sending weapons to Israel.
It should be noted that this is not the first time that the international parties demand cessation of sending arms to Israel.
Many countries and various world personalities have expressed concern over the ongoing trend of providing military aids to Israel.
The United States of America is the first and main arms exporter to Israel, with Germany and UK as its large-scale EU supporters and military aid providers.
