Tazieh Performance Commemorating Imam Hussein’s Martyrdom Held in Budapest

For the first time, a tazieh performance on the martyrdom of Imam al-Hussein, peace be upon him, was held in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, Tehran Times reported yesterday.

The event was organized by the Imam-e Rauf group and took place at a church in the city center.

The performances were attended by a large number of Hungary-based Iranians, as well as Muslims from countries such as Iraq, Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, Bangladesh, and Hungarians interested in Iranian culture and art.

The event received widespread attention and admiration from the audience, who praised the beauty and richness of the Iranian tradition in relation to the Husseini Rituals.
