First National Holy Quran Center Set to Open in Maldives

The President of the Republic of Maldives announced that his government has several initiatives in mind to expand the knowledge of the Quran and promote Islam, which will be implemented soon.

Mohammed Muizou also announced the launch of free Quran classes across the country.

He further assured that the government will allocate land for the opening of the National Holy Quran Center.

Muizou emphasized that the goal of the government is to develop other endowment facilities named “Dar al-Salam” and “Dar al-Arqam” to help promote the spread of Quranic teachings.

While emphasizing that studying the Quran is a solution to all the country’s behavioral problems, the President of the Republic of Maldives recommended that people refer to the holy book of the Quran and follow the divine instructions in it.
