Photographic exhibition in Moscow reflects the humanitarian catastrophe in Yemen

On Saturday, March 27th, the Russian capital witnessed the opening of a photographic exhibition entitled “Six Years of War, the Yemeni Humanitarian Disaster.”
The exhibition was organized with the efforts of the “Movement against Globalization in Russia” and the relief of Yemeni citizens in Russia, to shed light on what the war on Yemen had caused, and to demand the lifting of the blockade.
The organizers said that the aim of the exhibition is to attract the attention of the international community to the tragic events in Yemen and to invite the UN Security Council to quickly intervene in what is happening in the country.
Yemen has been witnessing a war for nearly 7 years, which has claimed the lives of more than 233,000 people, and 80% of the population, numbering about 30 million, is dependent on support and aid, in the worst humanitarian crisis in the world, according to the United Nations.
