A security source in the Iraqi province of Diyala said that an officer and two soldiers were wounded after an IED exploded, northeast of the province.

A security source in the Iraqi province of Diyala said that an officer and two soldiers were wounded after an IED exploded, northeast of the province.

The source said in a statement that an explosive device placed on an agricultural road between Khanaqin and Jalula (80 km northeast of Baquba) exploded, wounding an officer and two soldiers from the Fifth Division.

The source added that the condition of the wounded is not serious.
