The American writer and author of the book “Introducing the Top 100 Mosques in the World” demanded all tourists to visit the mosques from within to be acquainted it.

The American writer and author of the book “Introducing the Top 100 Mosques in the World” demanded all tourists to visit the mosques from within to be acquainted it.

Bernard O’Conn, a professor of architecture and Islamic arts at the American University in Cairo and author of “Introducing the Top 100 Mosques in the World”, asked tourists to learn about the spiritual atmosphere of mosques from within and not only see them from the outside.

O’Conn said “I personally visited 85 percent of the most prominent mosques around the world and then introduced mosques in North America, Europe, Africa and Asia.”
