As Boko Haram continues its insurgency in Nigeria and as many innocent lives are taken, the takfiri terrorists turn their eyes to education.

The killers came hunting their former teachers, gunning them down in their offices and in their classrooms.

At the top of Boko Haram’s kill list: head teachers, examiners, primary school staff and science and geography teachers, whose curriculum contradicted the group’s Flat-Earth ideology.

The second lesson of the day was underway when terror came to YaganaSanda’s school for primary and secondary students in Bama in northeastern Nigeria.

The gunmen headed straight to the office of headmaster YayaBuba Jam and shot him dead. They killed another teacher, Al Haji Modu, in his classroom.

In Boko Haram’s savage campaign to establish a so-called Islamic caliphate in western Africa, education is a primary target.
