Health Minister Taha al-Mutawakel called on the United Nations and humanitarian organizations to clarify the fate of the aid money, stressing that “it is wasted on providing cars and services that do not concern the Yemenis.”

Al-Mutawakel said that 5,400,000 Yemenis, including 2,900,000 children under the age of five, are malnourished, adding that 5,000 Yemeni children are infected annually by tumors as a result of the weapons used by the Saudi coalition.

“Enough shedding tears when watching our children being killed. We do not see the credibility in your international reports or any support deserved to this tragic situation,” Al-Mutawakel added.

On World Children’s Day, Yemen’s children did not need games and entertainment, but needed nurseries, ventilators and medicines to get their right to live.
