Thousands of people have taken to the streets in the French city of Toulouse to protest against “barbarity” and to show solidarity with the victims of the last week’s terrorist attacks in Paris.
More than 10,000 people marched in a silent rally across the southwestern city, carrying banners reading “For freedom and peace, against barbarity”, while police surrounded the crowd.
The march was the second this week staged in Toulouse to condemn terrorism and commemorate with the victims of the Paris attacks.
Similar rallies have been held in several other cities across France.
