Grand Ayatollah Shirazi: Shiites Responsible for Sharing Teachings of Lady Fatima al-Zahra Worldwide

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sadiq al-Husseini al-Shirazi has emphasized the importance of introducing the teachings and heritage of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), particularly her Fadak Sermon, to people around the world.

In a statement marking the first Fatimid Days, published on his official website, His Eminence said that the sermon contains valuable religious, intellectual and social teachings, and that conveying its message is a responsibility of Shi’a Muslims, first in Islamic countries and then across the world.

He called for greater attention to younger generations, urging initiatives that encourage youth to study, preserve and transmit the Fatimid heritage. He also highlighted the importance of supporting cultural activities and establishing awards for efforts aimed at promoting the teachings of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her).

The Fadak Sermon holds a significant place in Shi’a heritage for its discussions of theology, Quranic concepts, Islamic law, social responsibilities and the role of the Muslim community.

Grand Ayatollah Shirazi has repeatedly stressed the need to revive Fatimid culture, preserve the memory and teachings of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her), and pass this heritage on to future generations.
