A group of university students and religious activists, as well as members of Lady Roqayah husayniya in Kuwait met with the Grand Shia Islamic Jurist Ayatollah Sayed Sadiq Shirazi on Wednesday, January 2, 2019.
In this meeting, these visitors offered a report of their activities to the Grand Jurist and listened to statements of his eminence.
In his remarks, the Grand Jurist mentioned this hadith from the Prophet of Islam, who said: “One who gets married, has perfected half of his or her faith.”
These noble words of the God’s messenger, as the Grand Jurist said, imply that the unmarried people cannot preserve the wholeness of their faith, unless by marriage. This is the reason why the youths should care about marriage by lowering their expectations.
The Grand Jurist Ayatollah Shirazi then recited a poem which says: ‘With problems I should get along, to have success and ease of mind.’
The Grand Shia Jurist then elaborated: ‘You dear young men should memorize this line, and try to implement it in all your life; in your marriage, in your education, in your business and in your daily chores. You should also beware that getting married is not in the way of education and learning.
