Delegation from Ahlulbayt Center for Islamic Thought in Baghdad visits Karbala’s Holy Shrines

The Ahlulbayt Center for Islamic Thought in Baghdad formed a delegation of professors, students of religious sciences, imams of mosques and directors of institutions to visit the holy shrines in Karbala.

The delegation visited the office of His Eminence, Grand Ayatollah Sayyed Sadiq al-Shirazi, and the met with members of the office.

A speech delivered by Sheikh Zuhair Al-Asadi in which he mentioned the role of scholars and students of the seminary in society and their role in confronting the fierce attacks by the enemies of Islam and extremists.

Al-Asadi mentioned that “we must all bear social responsibility and not be superficial advocates.”

The delegation, accompanied by Shiekh Mustafa Maash, visited the headquarters of Marjaeya TV and were welcomed by the channel’s director, Hassan Nima al-Ilahi.

The delegation mentioned a set of programs and activities of the Ahlulbayt, peace be upon them, Center for Islamic Thought in Baghdad.

The delegation also toured the Imam Hussein Media Group and were received by the Public Relations Officer.

In conclusion, the center’s director forwarded his thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and generosity of the institutions affiliated with the Grand Ayatollah Shirazi.
