Officials from the mission stated in an interview with the Shia Waves Agency that “the mission has initiated its special activities to commemorate the sacred Arbaeen pilgrimage from its headquarters located on Bab Qibla Street near the shrine of Imam al-Hussein (peace be upon him). These activities aim to serve the esteemed visitors and those involved in the mourning processions and Hussaini organizations.”
They further noted that “the inauguration ceremony of the mission was attended by members of Grand Ayatollah Shirazi’s office in Karbala, representatives of the religious authority, scholars, students from the seminary, and various dignitaries.”
The officials elaborated that “the events will encompass a range of religious, cultural, and educational activities, continuing throughout the days of the sacred Arbaeen. These will include welcoming various religious, academic, and seminary figures, as well as the general public and mourners.”
Additionally, they mentioned that “other activities will involve addressing various religious and doctrinal inquiries from visitors, organizing discussion forums, exchanging ideas and questions, distributing cultural materials, conducting obligatory prayers in congregation, holding Hussaini mourning assemblies, and other blessed initiatives.”
