Shia Rights Watch condemns the attack on Shah Cherang Shrine and demands that the identities of the criminals be revealed

Shia Rights Watch Organization strongly condemned the brutal terrorist act that targeted the pilgrims of Sayyid Ahmad bin Musa Al-Kadhim (peace be upon him), known as Shah Cherang Shrine in the Iranian city of Shiraz.

The organization stated, in a statement received by Shia Waves News Agency), that it “has seen the data received from the Iranian city of Shiraz, which reported the martyrdom of nearly 20 pilgrims and the injury of dozens of others, including children, when a terrorist group opened fire at pilgrims of the holy shrine.

The international organization expressed its great pain and affirmed that it holds the Iranian authorities responsible for protecting the shrine and civilians and for revealing the identities of the perpetrators and masterminds of this crime.

At the conclusion of its statement, the organization called on the Almighty to bless the souls of the martyrs and prayed for the speedy recovery of all the injured.

The attack took place last Wednesday evening, when gunmen opened fire at pilgrims of the Holy Shrine. Amaq News Agency announced that the ISIS terrorist organization had adopted this terrorist act.
