According to arabstoday.net, Asilah bint Ali ibn Saud Al-Busaidiyah, head of the Women’s Activities Group affiliated to the committee said that the competition is a part of the group’s plan titled “Quran, the Path of Life”.
She added that Quran competition, Quran teaching and contemplation in Quranic verses are among the parts of the plan for the summer holidays.
100 women will compete in two groups of mothers aged from 30 to 39 and those above 40 years old.
Memorization of the second Juz (part) of Quran and memorization of the 28th Juz are the categories of the competition.
