A spokesman for the Yemeni Petroleum Company, Essam al-Mutawakel, confirmed that the Saudi coalition seized a new ship, bringing the number of seized ships to 4.
Al-Mutawakel said that the coalition seized the ship (Claudia Gas), which carried 8,437 tons of gas, despite it obtaining entry permits from the United Nations.
The petroleum company had previously confirmed that the coalition is holding 3 petroleum ships, including one loaded with GA, and two petroleum ships with 59,966 tons of gasoline and diesel for varying periods, which amounted to more than eight months for the currently detained ships.
The company that the ships have completed all examination and audit procedures through the UNVIM mechanism and obtained UN permits confirming that the cargo conforms to the conditions stipulated in the concept of verification and inspection mechanism operations.
