Local sources in al-Qatif said another unit of Saudi forces fired an explosive shell at a house in the eastern district of Kuwaikib. There were no reports of material damage or human casualties.

The sources added that the Saudi forces surrounded a number of neighbourhoods of Qatif and prevented the population from entering or leaving these neighbourhoods as they did not disclose the reason for their actions, which have terrorized the residents.
