More than 2,000 Saudi gunmen operate for ISIL and recruitment via Twitter and YouTube (World)
Terrorist organizations employ between 2,000 and 2,500 gunmen of Saudi nationality.
An expert in terrorist groups told Al-Hayat newspaper that assessments of research centers and monitors indicate that the number of Saudi fighters reached approximately 2,500, most of them are aged between 18 and 25 years old operating within the ranks of ISIL, the so-called ‘Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant,. He added that others operate within Al-Qaeda-affiliated AL-Nusra Front.
He pointed out that social networks, particularly the Twitter and YouTube, have become the most important recruitment means for terrorist groups.
